Monitor Price in India: 18.5" to 27" — What Each Size Costs in 2026
Monitor prices by size band — what HD office panels, FHD sweet-spot screens and 27-inch displays cost, and how to pick the right size for the desk.

Monitor prices in India run from ₹5,500 to ₹50,000, and the spec sheets do their best to hide which band you actually need. The truth is simpler: for most desks the decision is size and resolution, and each pairing has a fair price. Here's the map.
Monitor price in India by size
- 18.5" to 20" HD — ₹5,500 to ₹7,000. The office workhorse band: billing counters, CCTV views, a second screen beside a laptop. HD resolution (1366×768) is honest at this size — text stays readable, and the price stays low.
- 21.5" to 23.8" FHD — ₹10,500 to ₹12,500. The sweet spot for most desks in 2026: Full HD (1920×1080) at a size where it looks sharp, frameless panels that pair cleanly for dual setups. If you're unsure, buy in this band.
- 27" FHD — around ₹18,500. Big-screen comfort for spreadsheets, code and long documents — one 27" often replaces a dual-screen setup for focused work.
- Above ₹20,000 — the specialist bands. High-refresh gaming panels, 4K and colour-accurate screens live here. Worth it when the work demands it; wasted on a billing desk.
HD or FHD — the honest line
Resolution has to match size. HD (1366×768) is fine up to 20"; stretch it to 24" and text goes soft. FHD (1920×1080) is the right answer from 21.5" up. Ignore "HD-ready" marketing on large panels — at 24 inches it's a downgrade with a bigger bezel.
One big screen or two?
Two 21.5" frameless panels cost about the same as one 27" and suit trading desks, support teams and anyone who lives in two applications at once. The catch is the PC: onboard graphics usually drives two displays at most. A budget multi-display card — the 4-HDMI GT 730 class — drives four monitors from one tower, which is how most CCTV and trading walls are actually built.
Before you buy
- Ports — match the PC: older towers speak VGA, everything current speaks HDMI. Both on one monitor keeps options open.
- VESA mount holes — if a wall arm or pole mount is ever in the plan.
- Warranty with a GST invoice — panels are the most damage-prone part of any setup; buy where the warranty is real.
The POWERX monitor range runs 18.5" HD to 27" FHD ultraslim frameless — genuine panels with a GST invoice and warranty from five branches across India: Bengaluru, Mumbai, Vashi, Pune and Hyderabad. Prefer zero cables and boxes? The all-in-one desktops put the PC inside the display. Fitting out an office? Bulk pricing covers monitors by the dozen.
